Update - April 30th 2008 Congratulations!!!
All charges against the ‘Broadway 12’ were dismissed this morning. The judge essentially acknowledged that (1) the police officers had failed to appear at any of our court hearings and (2) we had not been prosecuted within the 30 days allowed under the law.
Thank you to Paula Santiago for supporting us in court today. And a BIG thank you to our lawyer, Kenny Gilbert, who defended us with honor and passion.
